Wednesday Evenings starting March 12 for six weeks
Queer theology has emerged out of liberation and feminist theology as a distinctive, radical way to view life and faith, exposing heterosexist/ gendered thought-patterns and assumptions that underlie many commonly held interpretations. This study will explore the writings in the book “Religion is a Queer Thing” ed. By Elizabeth Stuart and open us to new lenses, characters and inclusive/expansive ways of reading the stories of our tradition and understanding spirituality. This study is open to all sexualities, genders, levels of theological/church experience. Register by signing up in the foyer or contacting the church office at info@ssucedmonton.com.
