Say hello to our new 2024 summer market event!
Welcome to our new July Thrift Market and Bake Sale! On July 6th from 9 am to 3 pm, SSUC Edmonton at 10740 19 Ave NW will be full of treasures and goodies. There will also be an online market for larger and specialty items from June 24th to July 6th.
Curious about how to drop off donations? Head to SSUC Edmonton at the following times...
Tuesday: 10 am – 4 pm
Wednesday: 10 am – 4 pm
Thursday: 2 pm – 8 pm
Friday: 9 am – 12 pm
- Donations will be accepted starting the week before the sale (see times above)
- When you donate, attach a DONATION SHEET to your box or bag
- If you have larger items, like indoor or outdoor furniture for example, please email a picture to Dara at dc.smith@ssucedmonton.com as soon as possible
- Purchasers of larger items will be contacted with a pickup date post-sale
- A volunteer will check your bag or box when you bring it, if we cannot accept the items, we can help direct you to another donation, upcycling, or waste site

- Electronic entertainment pieces & Tools like Toasters, Microwaves, etc.
- Artwork and Home Decor
- Children’s clothing & accessories
- Kids toys, games, puzzles, books (in good condition)
- Outdoor Furniture and Gardening
- Housewares
- Linens
- CD’s and DVDs
- Hardware
- Books (hardcovers & paperback novels and literature only)
- Antique and Vintage Treasures (20 years and older)
- Wood Furniture (in good condition, email photos to jd.macdonald@shaw.ca)
- Baked Goods for the event!

- Luggage
- Carpet cleaners, printers, computer equipment and tech
- Picture frames
- Stained/torn clothes
- Baby Blankets/Baby-Care Equipment
- Candles/Candle Holders
- Plastic Pots
- Personal Care Items (tech tools or makeup products)
- Text Books, encyclopedias, reference books, etc.
- VHS Tapes and LP’s
- Collector or Souvenir Plates
- Craft supplies, office equipment, seasonal decorations
- Sports goods (baseball caps, equipment)
- Travel Mugs
- Pet Care Equipment
- Pillows
