Thrifty Treasures Garage Sale & Bake Sale 2026

May 30th, 9 am to 3 pm

Start downsizing and clearing out things you haven’t used for ages – bearing in mind they need to be in clean and good condition.

Purge your closets, sweep your storage rooms, clear out your jewellery boxes and mark your calendars for volunteer time from May 27-30th.

We need volunteers to make this fundraiser happen! Interested?

Donations

Donations will be accepted starting Tuesday, May 26th.

  • When you donate, attach a DONATION SHEET to your box or bag. This helps our volunteers organize donations.
  • Purchasers of larger items will be contacted with a pickup date post-sale
  • A volunteer will check your bag or box when you bring it. If we cannot accept the items, we can help direct you to another donation, upcycling, or waste site

  • Artwork and Home Decor
  • Children’s clothing & accessories
  • Kids toys, games, puzzles, books (in good condition)
  • Outdoor Furniture and Gardening
  • Housewares
  • Linens
  • CDs and DVDs
  • Hardware
  • Books (hardcovers & paperback novels and literature only)
  • Antique and Vintage Treasures (20 years and older)
  • Wood Furniture
  • Baked Goods for the event!

Items we cannot accept...

  • Luggage
  • Carpet cleaners, printers, computer equipment and tech
  • Picture frames
  • Stained/torn clothes
  • Baby Blankets/Baby-Care Equipment
  • Candles/Candle Holders
  • Plastic Pots
  • Personal Care Items (tech tools or makeup products)
  • Text Books, encyclopedias, reference books, etc.
  • VHS Tapes and LP’s
  • Collector or Souvenir Plates
  • Craft supplies, office equipment, seasonal decorations
  • Sports goods (baseball caps, equipment)
  • Travel Mugs
  • Pet Care Equipment
  • Pillows
