Chair Yoga

At SSUC, we recognized a need in our community for accessible, affordable yoga — and we’re so excited to do something about it!

Thanks to a generous grant from the Arthritis Society of Canada, we are proud to offer a free Chair Yoga Program right here in our building, led by a certified yoga instructor.

Mat Zoom Yoga

SSUC’s Wednesday night online Hatha yoga with Sharon McMullan-Baron is the place to be for improved strength, flexibility, balance, concentration and relaxation.

Adult participants settle their minds, move their bodies and explore their breath in a gentle supportive environment.

Every body is a yoga body. You are welcome to join at any time. Wednesdays, 7 pm.

Sacred Circle Dancing

Sacred Circle Dancing is a gentle, healing way to bring body, mind and spirit together.

SSUC’s groups provides an opportunity to learn simple circle dances for people of all ages—including families.

The group meets a few times a year, usually after a Sunday gathering.

Labyrinth Walk

Wrap yourself in the silence and meditative experience of a labyrinth walk.

We like to welcome the Equinox or Solstice change of seasons with a labyrinth walk. However, we need volunteers for its set up. Please contact us if you are interested in volunteering for this event.
