Canadian Soldiers in Israel

In mid-November 2025, Canadian soldiers participated in Israeli military seminars on its war crimes in Gaza. They were to reportedly “hear lectures, conduct tours in the Gaza Envelope, and meet with soldiers and civilians who took part in the defensive battles on Oct. 7, 2023,” according to some Israeli news outlets.

Follow the link below to write to Prime Minister Carney and Foreign Affairs Minister Anand to request that Canada sever all military ties with the Israeli government and military, given the genocidal apartheid state in Israeli-occupied Palestine:

  • Send a letter: Tell the Canadian Government to take action against genocide, apartheid, and occupation
In response to the International Court of Justice’s July 2024 Advisory Opinion, the UN General Assembly (UNGA) passed a resolution that called “for Israel to comply with international law and withdraw its military forces, immediately cease all new settlement activity, evacuate all settlers from occupied land, and dismantle parts of the separation wall it constructed inside the occupied West Bank.” The resolution required Israel to end its illegal occupation within 12 months — making the deadline September 18, 2025.

More recently than the UNGA resolution, on September 16, 2025, the Independent International Commission of Inquiry on the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem, and Israel (UN Commission) released a report stating that “Israel has committed genocide against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.”
