TOGETHER NOT ALONE is a weekend retreat where you will experience community connection, deepening conversations, good food, and an array of all-ages activities.
This weekend (or a part of it) is for you if you’d like to have an opportunity for connection and conversations that go deeper than what can happen in a few minutes on a Sunday!
There will be moments for adult deepening connection, as well as activities that are appropriate for any age.

You’ll have an opportunity to explore:
sharing some of your spiritual journey
casual conversation to meet new folks
take a short nature walk
experience circle dancing
learn or sing favourite songs
participate in a rhythm circle
experience the process of beading
learn about the diversity and importance of pronouns
have some low-key time for an art project
The retreat will conclude by joining the entire SSUC community for the Spiritual Gathering on Sunday followed by a potluck lunch.
Whether we’re from Edmonton, Saskatoon, or anywhere else, we are truly “Together, Not Alone” as the SSUC community!

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 4
6:00 – Welcome Meal (build your own sub: meat, cheese, pickles, condiments; raw vegetables, chocolate)
7:15 – Casual Conversations and Connecting, with wine, mocktails and cheeseÂ
8:15 – An Evening Ritual and Song
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 5
9:30 – Connecting over muffins, fruit, coffee/teaÂ
10:00 – Adult discussion: Sharing glimpses of our journeys
11:00 – Break
11:15 – Adult discussion: Where we’re pursuing the expansive journey
12:15 – Lunch – Build your own tacos
1:30 – All-ages Tastes of Spiritual Practices (Nature Walk, Circle Dance, Rhythm or Singing Circle, Art Project, Bread Making)
5:00 – Supper – Fresh bread and soupsÂ
6:00 – All-ages CampfireÂ
SUNDAY, OCTOBER 6
10:00 – Spiritual Gathering with the whole SSUC Community
11:30 – Potluck Lunch
